This directory is a small contribution to the move towards cooperation, particularly between the North and the South shores as they seek to recognise their commun Mediteranean identity : it will enable them to locate organisations working in the immense field of environment and, from now on, necessarily sustainable development, develop and exchange experience acquired across the range of technical and scientific awareness-raising activitites, identify sources of knowledge and training, ease acces to finance , involve civil societies, make contact with networks in other parts of the world, etc...
